Brides, please have regular date nights.
I’m sure you’re already doing this so AWESOME if you are. But I totally understand the pressure of planning a wedding because it’s NOT just the wedding day! That’s what they think it is but we know differently. Together, you’re planning for your honeymoon, living arrangements, family accommodations (and upcoming family stress). On top of that, you’re planning for something even so much more important – your marriage!
So, please let me encourage you to stop. Pick a night to just stop and let you two be you two. Have a date night. Relax. Enjoy. No wedding planning talk. No to do lists. Just a romantic evening for two.
Here’s a delicious (what is a date night without good food?), enjoyable hot spot we recommend.
Scrumptious Italian dishes right at Newport Beach.
The servers are AWESOME. They are just an amazing group of servers that make you feel comfortable and have you laughing during the evening. Ask for Joey. He’s the best.
The evening we went there were drawings from kids all over the walls. Adorable.
Ah, but the BEST part of Mama D’s is this. Our personal favorite:
Kelsey’s Capri (chopped fresh roma tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, garlic and basil) with Angel Hair Pasta, Mama D’s Original Pink Sauce (the best), and Bay Scallops
The large meatballs are pretty great too.
Can’t end without sharing Yelp reviews here for you fellow Yelpers!
