When it comes to how to pose, here’s a HUGE-DIFFERENCE-MAKER secret:

This is a little secret we tell all our clients:

Whatever’s closer to the camera looks bigger.  Whatever’s farther from the camera looks smaller.

So lean in

Have your subject bend at the waists and lean in closer to the camera.

This works for you camera hams as well!  Whether you’re photographing someone or taking a selfie, lean into the camera.

Your eyes and face will look larger while slimming your waistline and legs.

AND

When the background you love is high above your subject, it’s the perfect time to lean in even closer to the camera to prevent distortion of the face.
