How to Have a Strong Marriage | Advice by Jim Garner

April 7, 2011 by D. Park Photography Leave a Comment

Jim Garner has been dubbed by American Photo was one of the top 10 wedding photographers in the world.  Knowing the pressure that must come with working to that kind of success, we had to ask  Jim Garner about how he was able to prioritize his marriage through it all.  We asked Jim: What advice do you have on creating a strong marriage?

His good advice:

  • You must separate work time and family time.
  • Give yourself fixed hours when you’ll do work.
  • Give each other space when you need it.
  • Once you have kids, a date night is a MUST.

– JIM GARNER
