A couple both so in love and so loving.
We just fell in love with Robyn and Albert from the first time we met them.
the romantic love story
Albert and I met while we were both attending UC Riverside in 2006. To be more specific, I was a freshman attending my very first ever Fraternity party and he was a Junior and was a member of the fraternity. Funny story – when my sorority sister introduced us he was there with another girl and her brother. He introduced me to his dates younger brother and we ended up going on a couple dates! If you bring it up around him, which I totally think you should, he will tell you that introducing that other guy to me was the biggest mistake of his life, haha. 😉 Thankfully it didn’t work out between he and I and throughout the years Albert and I became close friends. His roommate was a good girlfriend of mine and I would always tell her how amazing I thought Albert is and how if he ever wanted to date me I would do it in a heartbeat! It wasn’t until after I graduated college in 2010 that we all went out with some mutual friends, had some drinks (yay for liquid courage), and finally professed our obsession with one another! After that we started regularly dating have been inseparable ever since.
It was on our 3 year anniversary that he proposed. He conspired with my best friends to plan a girls weekend in Palm Springs. I had assumed that I was going there to meet up with them and lay by the pool all weekend, but that was not the case! One of my friends told me she made us dinner reservations at my favorite hotel (The Parker) so that night when we arrived for our reservation the bartender handed me a small hardcover book entitled, “Our Love Story”. It was the sweetest book that detailed how we met, the trips we have taken and all the other memorable pieces of our relationship. Once I got towards the end there was a map of the hotel grounds, I followed the map that led to a suite they have at the hotel, where he proposed! He then told me that we can go inside and call our parents and friends, but when I opened the door, to my surprise, all of our family and friends were already there! It was honestly the best day ever! 🙂
