“First, I want to say that you are very special! and awesome! I didn’t know I was going to get a first look. However, the moment was breathtaking.
It’s a father’s dream.
Her hair, makeup, dress, they all made memories that will be with me for life – and your pictures show it.”
– Chuck, Father of the Bride
“WOW! You, your wife, and help were great. It really was nice to see smiling faces on the other side of the camera.
Everyone seemed to be “in the moment” and caught up in Emily and Bob’s love for each other.
You truly captured pictures our family will enjoy for years.”
– Kay, Mother of the Bride
To us, after the bride and groom, the second most important people to capture, to take care of, are the parents.
When it comes to the mothers and fathers on the day of the wedding, we make it a priority to:
- Memorize and call them by their names
- Communicate upfront that we are there for them if they’d like any photos taken
- Give them peace of mind knowing that not only are their children, the bride/groom, of great importance, but they, as parents that have waited (whether out of excitement or dread) for this day…are of great importance
To assure them that we will capture the emotions
Real reactions
That last look
That last kiss goodbye to their little baby girl
Their smile when their son or daughter are announced for the grand entrance
The joy savored in that first dance
The laughter
The joy
And the precious tears
Here’s to the parents of all brides and grooms. That day could not have been without you.
