Introducing a beautiful couple, Lisa and Odom, and their lovely Modern Cambodian Loft on Pine Long Beach wedding.
the love story
Odom and Lisa met at Raging Waters through mutual friends. After the event, Odom found out that Lisa had enrolled at LBCC for the summer and decided to switch summer session enrollment from CSULB to LBCC in order to get to know her. They spent the summer hanging out after classes and getting to know each other…and studying, of course ;). However, Lisa was unaware that Odom was developing romantic feelings for her. With summer coming to an end and Lisa’s inevitable return to UCSD for the start of sophomore year, the opportunity to express his feelings was running out. There was a gathering at the park, and Odom realized it was his last chance to let her know.
Unfortunately, his attempts failed…
A few days later, as fate would have it, Lisa was thinking about Odom and realized that he was acting a little strange..maybe a little creepy.
So, she decided to give him a call and asked him, “How do you feel about me?”
Poor Odom wasn’t expecting this and took a while to reply back that he liked her. Then Lisa said, “Well…I like you too.”
August 21, 2004 was the next time they met each other at Bolsa Chica Beach, and decided to officially commemorate that day as a couple.
And the rest is history. 🙂
romantic proposal
On August 21, 2013, Odom and Lisa decided to buy a house together.
They were excited to get the keys on the day of their anniversary.
Lisa was going to meet with Odom at their home. Once she arrived, she found a note at the front door. It was from Odom.
As she looked around, she saw he had left her notes throughout the house to read. But it didn’t go as planned because Lisa took FOREVER to read the notes. She had trouble reading the lightly printed – poor Odom and his helpers (Mo and Fred), who felt like they hid in the hot room forever.
Finally, Odom surprised her and pop the question. And of course, she said YES!
