the love story
Taylor and TC go way back, all the way back to Jr High. They’ve always had the same circle of friends – when their best friends got married to each other, they even served as maid of honor and best man! Their friendship was strong, based on their Christian faith and in their awesome chemistry: and they often shared dating woes and joked about eventually ending up with one another!
Long years of friendship built up and on one work trip, on a whim, Taylor decided to delay her flight home in order to surprise TC while he was studying in Georgia. After a fun filled day of tailgating at a football game one thing led to another and the two shared the kiss that began their love story.
the proposal
A year after that exciting kiss, TC and Taylor went back to Georgia to attend another football game. They were walking to dinner down in Savannah, Georgia when TC led Taylor to a park (the one containing the bench seen in Forrest Gump, in fact!) Then, suddenly, TC proposed so fast that Taylor didn’t even have time to smile! She did, of course, after letting the proposal sink in and gave her husband-to-be a resounding, “yes!”

Taylor and TC celebrated their love with a classically-inspired wedding, held at the beautiful Richard Nixon Library.
