Excited to share with you this lovable couple’s beautiful Noor Pasadena wedding. Introducing the love story and wedding day of Alice and Mike:
the love story (from the couple)
Alice and Mike met on 3/10/2007. They were both attending a birthday party for a mutual friend, Jessica (Bridesmaid). Dinner was planned at a sushi restaurant called Maki Maki and the party had been seated in an outdoor patio under a space heater that would either always be too hot or not hot enough. Alice was already at the table with a few other guests trying to warm up when Mike arrived. After greeting everyone, Mike saw a new face in the crowd and decided to introduce himself. He walked over to Alice and greeted her with a smile and a handshake. Alice smiled, and shook Mike’s hand. Mike looked at Alice in shock. Alice’s hands were ice cold and Mike said “My God, your hands are cold!” Alice immediately pulled her hand back and tried to warm it up while trying to explain that she parked in the wrong area and had to walk from the opposite side of the Irvine Spectrum in the cold.
That was their first interaction.
After dinner, the group went to Dave and Buster’s for some drinks and games. Mike bought a few rounds of drinks for the group and drinks soon led to poorly played arcade games where Alice skillfully spanked Mike on a few racing games (he didn’t let her win… honestly!)
After D&B, as the night came to an end, Mike offered Alice a ride to her car since she had parked somewhere on the other side of the planet and because he didn’t want Alice to walk alone in the cold. Mike put his coat on Alice as they walked to the valet and Alice did something that Mike will never forget. She brought up Batman.
Alice said, “Did you know that the bat signal won’t work without clouds?”
Without knowing it, Alice had made an impression on Mike that no other girl ever did. If sparks can fly when people meet, Alice lit the biggest match.
Mike and a group of friends surprized Alice while on a trip to San Francisco. A friend of ours made a video about the trip with footage from the proposal (sorry it’s in Thai… but at least she made subtitles lol):
