Tears came down my eyes during the wedding vows of Noel + An…ESPECIALLY when An said:

“I can’t wait to grow old with you.”

From meeting this couple, we knew their hearts and their love story was just so special.
love story
From the lovable groom’s perspective:
Our story began in February 2009 on a frigid Boston night. I was at a Fellowship event at a church I had just started attending. Since I was new, my friend wanted to introduce me around to everyone. After a few meet and greets, I came across a girl who had a smile that seemed to brighten up the entire room. We introduced ourselves and started to get to know one another. The way she spoke to me was gentle and warm. There was something about her bubbly personality that made me feel completely relaxed. I didn’t know it then, but this was the moment I met the love of my life, Noel.
We got to know each other some more before we started dating. At the time, Noel was living and working in Plymouth, a town that was about 40 minutes away. She had flown across the country from Orange County, California to work in Plymouth where her company was trying to build a large movie studio. Plymouth will always have a great place in our hearts because this was where our adventure together started.
As we continue on our journey together, we’re truly blessed to have God, our wonderful families and our loving and supportive friends with whom we share our relationship. May our wedding day be a glorious and exciting day, in which we can use to show our appreciation and utmost gratitude to God and our families and friends for all their tremendous love and support.
Aren’t they so precious?! We love these guys.
romantic proposal
From the adorable bride’s point of view:
I was working in London when An came out for our two year anniversary.
On May 21, 2011, before we left to explore the city, An surprised me with a dress that he and my best friend, Sara, had selected for me. We met my cousin, Chi Ut Ly and her husband, Yura, in the city and enjoyed sightseeing and taking in all the beautiful views.
After many hours of exploring, we stood in front of Big Ben where An had asked my cousin to take a photo for us. We took a photo and then he pulled me in for a hug and whispered in my ear that he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. I was completely surprised and the next thing I knew, he was on his knee asking me to marry him! I, of course, said YES!
I turned to look at my cousins, and one photographed the entire proposal and my other cousin captured it on video.
It was the perfect day!
